- Stay on topic: You might be tempted to bring up other issues that you care about, since your are writing anyway. While this is understandable, your letter will have more impact if it stays on topic.
- If possible, make it personal: If you are directly affected by the current regulations on SRE, mention it. It proves that it is not (just) a matter of principle, but also a matter of your heart.
- Keep it short: Especially when you write a letter to the editor. They often receive hundreds of emails, and prefer those that capture an idea succinctly.
- And finally: Copy or forward the email to ethics.trial@gmail.com. Please.
