Support The Ethics Trial

10 primary schools in NSW offer this semester an alternative to children who do not attend SRE classes. This trial is supported by numerous organisations, and most importantly, by many parents. This hasn't stopped some established Christian lobby groups to campaign against the trial. To stop parents from choosing.

Make yourself heard. Email your local newspaper, your local MP, Minster Firth or the Premier herself in support of the trial. And copy or forward your message to ethics.trial@gmail.com. We will post your emails here and on Facebook. Such that your voice is on record and will not go unnoticed.

I am writing to add my strong support for the Ethics Trial [more].
It's not good enough just letting them read a book or playing with a toy - or leaving them out on the verandah!!! My children are sometimes left in the same room as/exposed to the 'scripture class teachers' (read evangelical christians who are NOT QUALIFIED to teach ANYTHING!!!).
People who follow a faith should be responsible for their child's religious upbringing - Saturday or Sunday school at their local church...!!!
We pay our taxes, volunteer our time at our local school - and we deserve a CHOICE!
