Support The Ethics Trial

10 primary schools in NSW offer this semester an alternative to children who do not attend SRE classes. This trial is supported by numerous organisations, and most importantly, by many parents. This hasn't stopped some established Christian lobby groups to campaign against the trial. To stop parents from choosing.

Make yourself heard. Email your local newspaper, your local MP, Minster Firth or the Premier herself in support of the trial. And copy or forward your message to ethics.trial@gmail.com. We will post your emails here and on Facebook. Such that your voice is on record and will not go unnoticed.

I am writing to add my strong support for the Ethics Trial   [more].
The teaching of Ethics would be a valuable and worthwhile addition to the school curriculum as a mandatory subject, with scripture being an optional item.
Public schools should be a secular environment not promoting any specific faith. Faith should be a personal issue practised in a private environment or communally with like minded individuals who are making a free choice to participate.
I appreciate your time and consideration in this matter.
