Support The Ethics Trial

10 primary schools in NSW offer this semester an alternative to children who do not attend SRE classes. This trial is supported by numerous organisations, and most importantly, by many parents. This hasn't stopped some established Christian lobby groups to campaign against the trial. To stop parents from choosing.

Make yourself heard. Email your local newspaper, your local MP, Minster Firth or the Premier herself in support of the trial. And copy or forward your message to ethics.trial@gmail.com. We will post your emails here and on Facebook. Such that your voice is on record and will not go unnoticed.

Dear Verity Firth
I am writing to add my strong support for the Ethics Trial  [more].
Given that we live in a secular society, why is scripture being taught in State schools? It contradicts the very concept of the separation of the Church and the State.
Surely, questions of faith are private and personal matters that have no place in our public education system.
