Support The Ethics Trial

10 primary schools in NSW offer this semester an alternative to children who do not attend SRE classes. This trial is supported by numerous organisations, and most importantly, by many parents. This hasn't stopped some established Christian lobby groups to campaign against the trial. To stop parents from choosing.

Make yourself heard. Email your local newspaper, your local MP, Minster Firth or the Premier herself in support of the trial. And copy or forward your message to ethics.trial@gmail.com. We will post your emails here and on Facebook. Such that your voice is on record and will not go unnoticed.

I Support the Ethics Trial in NSW Primary Schools

I am writing to add my strong support for the Ethics Trial  [more].
I have had the experience of my children (now all adults) having idle time while other children were in scripture. I even had one occasion when I attended the school after discovering the non-scripture classes were used to pick up rubbish in the school grounds. From my own experience and children's experience the opportunity to attend an ethics class would have been the best possible solution for atheist families. I urge you to remember that religious faith is still a choice and under no circumstances should people in any area of society be disadvantaged for their beliefs.
