Support The Ethics Trial

10 primary schools in NSW offer this semester an alternative to children who do not attend SRE classes. This trial is supported by numerous organisations, and most importantly, by many parents. This hasn't stopped some established Christian lobby groups to campaign against the trial. To stop parents from choosing.

Make yourself heard. Email your local newspaper, your local MP, Minster Firth or the Premier herself in support of the trial. And copy or forward your message to ethics.trial@gmail.com. We will post your emails here and on Facebook. Such that your voice is on record and will not go unnoticed.

I Support the Ethics Trial in NSW Primary Schools

I am writing to add my strong support for the Ethics Trial [more].
I do not believe that my son should be "put out" his class or even when enroling in school choose to "opt out" of SRE. This is unfair, discrimative and prejudice against those who choose not engage in religous belief.
Looking through Support Special Ethics Education website, I believe this type of education would benefit my son and family as it welcome discussion from all races and religions.
I do hope that you would consider this try of trial or even replacement of SRE or alturnative supliment for anyone choosing to "opt out" of SRE.
