I Support the Ethics Trial in NSW Primary Schools
Dear Phil Koperberg
I am writing to add my strong support for the Ethics Trial [more].
My children have been disadvantaged by opting out of Scripture - they waste at least half an hour each week doing a "boring" & pointless activity sheet when they could be using this time to explore & discuss important ethical issues. If we must have Scripture in schools (rather than as an extra-curricular activity, which would be more appropriate in the 21st century), then the same ethical content could be offered to Scripture teachers to use as they see fit, so that no child is disadvantaged.
