Support The Ethics Trial

10 primary schools in NSW offer this semester an alternative to children who do not attend SRE classes. This trial is supported by numerous organisations, and most importantly, by many parents. This hasn't stopped some established Christian lobby groups to campaign against the trial. To stop parents from choosing.

Make yourself heard. Email your local newspaper, your local MP, Minster Firth or the Premier herself in support of the trial. And copy or forward your message to ethics.trial@gmail.com. We will post your emails here and on Facebook. Such that your voice is on record and will not go unnoticed.

I am writing to add my strong support for the Ethics Trial [more].
I believe this is a very worthwhile initiative which addresses a gap in children's moral education at school. I think the ethics classes are very valuable way to encourage children to consider important values and social issues. I believe this to be the case both in addition to and as analternative to scripture classes.
I very much hope the classes continue and become a regular part of the curriculum.
