Support The Ethics Trial

10 primary schools in NSW offer this semester an alternative to children who do not attend SRE classes. This trial is supported by numerous organisations, and most importantly, by many parents. This hasn't stopped some established Christian lobby groups to campaign against the trial. To stop parents from choosing.

Make yourself heard. Email your local newspaper, your local MP, Minster Firth or the Premier herself in support of the trial. And copy or forward your message to ethics.trial@gmail.com. We will post your emails here and on Facebook. Such that your voice is on record and will not go unnoticed.

I Support the Ethics Trial in NSW Primary Schools

Dear Barry O'Farrell
I am writing to add my strong support for the Ethics Trial [more].
As a parent of 2 children that have been through the state school system I would like to lodge my strong support for the ethics trial & proposed implementation. My first hand experience of keeping my daughters out of religion classes is very disturbing --- they were treated like lepers - left to sit in the corridor to be used as a "goffer" by teachers & generally made to feel an outsider --- I am very disturbed by your dismissal out of hand of this alternative for children that do not attend religion classes.
Mr O'Farrell I urge you to take a closer look at what actually happens with children currently not attending the virtually compulsory religion classes -- from my personal experience you will find discrimination & upset children - with parents forced to shield their children by enrolling them in religion indoctrination against their conscience.
